Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC) is hosting an international festival showcasing emerging artists from April 11 to April 13 at the Apothikes Theatre in Nicosia.

This festival marks the concluding event of the three-year Theatre in Palm project.

Over the course of three days, the festival will present 12 performances from 12 different countries, each between 20 and 40 minutes, exploring the theme of identity. This vibrant mosaic offers audiences in Cyprus a unique opportunity to experience the work of up-and-coming theatre artists from across Europe.

What is Theatre in Palm?

Theatre in Palm is a three-year European initiative aimed at supporting emerging theatre artists by fostering international collaboration, cross-border mobility, and cultural exchange. Throughout the project, various activities have taken place, including theatre workshops, residencies, local mobility events, two international academies, artist exchanges, and two festivals—one in Ireland and this final one in Cyprus.

The program has brought together artists from across Europe through its 12 partners:

THOC and Theatre in Palm

THOC is honored to host the final Theatre in Palm festival, marking the culmination of three years of creativity, collaboration, and cultural dialogue. Through this partnership, THOC plays a vital role in promoting emerging theatre voices in Europe, connecting them with Cypriot audiences and the local theatre scene, and contributing to the discovery of new artistic perspectives.
